Nigel Harvey
Associate Director
Nigel is one of the Associate Directors of IPaD.
Nigel specialises in the post planning design and implementation of highways and drainage schemes. Nigel has 14 years of experience of highways and drainage design. Nigel has been working for IPaD since it was first founded in 2010, in this time he has been promoted from Senior Engineer through to his current role of Associate Director.
Nigel leads the team responsible for production of detail design plans and specifications for both Technical Approval and construction of highways and drainage schemes. He is IPaD’s 3D modelling expert in PDS and WINDES. Nigel has many years site experience and works with Clients and Contractors to deliver a successful scheme.
Prior to joining IPaD Nigel was in the highway team at JMP. Before working with Richard and Steve, Nigel was in the design team at Waterman for 3 years, and in Local Government prior to that.
Nigel has always been an Engineer with an eye for detail and a talent for being able to see the bigger picture. Nigel will work with all members of a team assisting with pre planning works, through the detail design and supervision of site construction. Nigel has experience of the cost and ‘buildability’ of schemes and uses his experience to help to optimise a scheme for a Client.
