Our Team

Steve Fisher

Managing Director

Steve has been working in the highways and drainage industry since 1990 and specialises in the post planning delivery of a scheme.

As well as providing post planning development Steve provides pre planning assistance and likes to work with Architects and Clients to further develop ideas leading to feasible and cost-effective solutions. Steve strives to look at the big picture of designs and will always try to help to optimise a scheme to benefit his Client’s needs.

Steve loves working in engineering and likes to generate enthusiasm in the office with his commitment to providing the best service for the Client.

Nigel Harvey

Technical Director

Nigel specialises in the post planning design and implementation of highway and drainage schemes. Nigel has over 20 years of experience of highways and drainage design.

Nigel leads the team responsible for production of detail design plans and specifications for both technical approval, tender and construction of highways and drainage schemes.

Nigel will work with all members of a team assisting with pre planning works, through the detail design and supervision of site construction. Nigel has experience of the cost and buildability of schemes and uses his experience to help to optimise a scheme for the Client.

Steve Frost

Principal Engineer

Steve specialises in the post planning design and implementation of highways schemes. Steve has over 25 years of experience of highways both as a designer and as a site supervisor.

Steve produces detailed designs, tender and construction drawings for schemes and he specialises in the 3D design of highways (horizontal and vertical alignments) and earthworks modelling using the PDS design package. This is in accordance with the relevant design standards to gain technical approval from the local highway authority.

Beth Onions

Senior Transport Planner / Senior Engineer

Beth primarily works in the Transportation Team of IPaD preparing Transport Assessments and Statements, Travel Plans and Construction Management Plans for planning submissions.

She is also a member of the highways and drainage design team preparing detailed design plans for technical approval, tender and construction. Beth specialises in preparing initial junction designs and completing the modelling for the Transport Assessments as well as completing swept path analysis.

Richard Pettit

Consultant

Richard is a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Water and Environmental Manager status; as well as being a Fellow of ICE and CIHT and Member of CIWEM.

Richard has wide ranging experience in civil engineering and transport planning with particular skills in development planning, highways, and water engineering.

Richard specialises in the development as a whole and pre-planning element of the life of a scheme. Richard has spent the last 30 of his 45 years in the industry specialising in planning infrastructure necessary for achieving planning permission of development projects and assisting developers to win permission.

Richard has undertaken many Expert Witness projects and enjoys the challenge of developing a case and giving evidence.
