Who We Help

Local Service Providers

We have undertaken work on behalf of the residential care sector, charitable organisations and major NHS healthcare providers to support planning applications for the development of new facilities and the extension and enhancement of existing sites.

We work alongside private developers and education providers to assist them with a range of technical advice that extends to supporting them obtain the consent and delivery of new sites through planning, to working with existing sites on such matters as parking studies, car park design, and road safety studies including speed surveying and safer routes to school identification, and personalised travel planning.

Part of the work we undertake on some of the larger residential sites such as new settlement schemes includes consideration of new education and community support facilities and we offer support through the master planning process to identify best siting of these new facilities to ensure maximisation of walking catchments and connectivity by non-car modes of transport. As part of this process, we offer guidance to master planners on safe walking environments and internal roads design to reduce traffic speeds.
